Pie Tin Pin Cushion, Sewing Notion No10

This bespoke vintage Pie Tin Pin Cushion is the ideal sewing notion for the discerning crafter, a tactile handy place to keep all those essential sewing pins.

It has been designed with both beauty and utility in mind. It is constructed from my hand dyed and rust dyed fabrics, which have the imprints of metal sewing notions as well as being hand embroidered. The fabrics have been patchworked together to make a very tiny cushion which sits in this sweet little vintage pie tin. It is such a sweet little tactile pin cushion to handle, measuring 5.5cms across the cushion and roughly 6cms deep. As it has a metal base it stops those sharp ends of your sewing pins piercing through. 

This item is ideal for the crafter who works at home or crafts on the move as it is small and just the right size for putting in a small craft bag.
